Holiday Festivities in Dallas

Dallas is one of the most significant cultural hubs in Texas with a great mix of history, tradition, and business. This metropolis invites residents and visitors from nearby towns for the holidays as many beautiful celebrations and activities bring holiday cheer to the city. Luxurious light displays and elegant decor floods the streets of upscale neighborhoods while high-end shopping centers play Christmas tunes with Santa and his elves waiting patiently to greet families. With a wide variety of ways to have fun under the warm glow of holiday lighting, there is no shortage of seasonal events to take part in each year. Keep these happenings around town in mind when planning family events in celebration of the holidays in Dallas.

Christmas Festivities

Observation of lights

The ability to drive through neighborhoods and observe glowing architecture and trees designed professionally to encourage the holiday spirit is abundant during the holidays. Highland Park real estate Christmas light designs are paired with radio tunes to promote Christmas cheer and offer a fantastic way to spend time as a family celebrating the holidays.

Holidays in Klyde Warren Park

This celebration of the Christmas holiday brings the community together with performances at the annual tree lighting ceremony. With carolers, concerts, and live music, this event is a favorite of the Dallas community. Be sure to bring your beanies, scarves, and gloves to keep warm during the outdoor show.

Enchant Christmas

Explore the most famous light maze in the world at Fair Park in Dallas, where a fantastic display of lights and music takes place just after Thanksgiving and continues to the new year. The Hallmark channel presents a winter wonderland with ice skating, Christmas treats, adult beverages, and visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus in an exclusive environment to purchase specific event and activity tickets. This holiday display is also available to rent for groups and private parties.

Frisco's Christmas in the Square

The nineteenth of November marks the start of the festivities in Frisco, which last until the new year. Frisco Square Property Owners Association hosts a Christmas extravaganza in the town’s square with horse carriage rides, lights, a tree lot, a toy drive, and an ice skating opportunity at this annual holiday carnival. Sponsors provide amenities and activities for families to enjoy, including visits with Santa.

Dallas Holiday Parade

On the very first Saturday in December, Downtown Dallas comes alive with the city's largest outdoor event of the year. With dancers, band members, and volunteers putting on the production, the pageantry is phenomenal and creates an unforgettable experience for all on the sidelines. Tickets for this event allow VIP seating and front-row access to the show.
